What is Probit Analysis Software?
A Windows desktop application for establishing the V50 of body armour and ballistic protection by the probit method of NATO AEP-2920, Annex H. From your firing-session shot data it estimates V50 and its standard deviation with confidence limits, derives the V1 and V99 velocities, and checks the method's acceptance conditions.
Who is it for?
Armour manufacturers, ballistic test ranges, proving grounds and protection laboratories — anyone who needs a defensible V50 from a firing session, with the confidence limits and method checks to back it up.
Does it follow a recognised standard?
Yes. The calculation implements the probit method of NATO AEP-2920 (Edition A, Version 2), Annex H, and reproduces the standard's published worked example (V50 = 515.2005 m/s, sd = 10.9791) — you can load it in the app to confirm.

What data does it need, and where does it go?
You provide a table of shots: impact velocity and result — a complete penetration (perforated) or partial penetration (stopped). Everything runs locally on your machine — your data is never uploaded anywhere.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Yes — paste straight from a spreadsheet or import a CSV, and export the results, S-curve and a PDF report back out for your records.
